Q. Do we need an architect?
A. Yes, although Anthony James provides some Design Build services that may be appropriate for your project.
Q. What about permits?
A. Anthony James Construction is a knowledgeable, full service company and provides everything necessary for all our construction projects.
Q. How long will the job take?
A. Although every project is different, and we will provide you with a production schedule at our pre-construction meeting, most major additions and renovations take 3-5 months, and new homes 6-12 months.
Q. Will we need a variance?
A. Under most circumstances... NO. If you're concerned, our representative will be familiar with your local codes, and will be able to tell you before we start.
Q. Is there any way to save $$ with your services?
A. Do-it-yourselfers can save money with Anthony James' "Shell Package." We will provide exterior construction with all major alterations and interior partitions.
Q. What about matching new additions to the existing house?
A. One of our main concerns at Anthony James is to match your home architecturally and structurally. Our attention to details and characteristics is exceptional.
Q. What about references?
A. Anthony James will be happy to provide as many local references as requested. We also encourage you to visit our showroom displaying the beautiful workmanship on some of our most recent projects.

A. In order to provide the best service possible, we choose to stay within an approximate 20 minute radius of our office, which is located in Westfield NJ. Our Services have been provided in Basking Ridge, Berkeley Heights, Clark, Cranford, Fanwood, Garwood, Millburn, Mountainside, New Providence, Scotch Plains, Short Hills, Summit, Watchung and Westfield.
